Solina, a custom seasoning and functional ingredient manufacturer located in Oak Creek, WI is currently in need of Production Operators on 1st and 2nd shift. The shift hours are 6:30am – 2:30pm and 2:30pm – 10:30pm. Our production area consists of four different departments: Blending, Grinding, Weighing, Packaging. All positions require close attention to detail and the ability to consistently perform heavy lifting. 

  The packaging production line Machine Operator performs a variety of functions including but not limited to the operation of high speed packaging equipment, completion of daily production and/or QA paperwork.  Ensures work is completed in a safe manner and within the quality parameters established.

This individual will assist with recipe creation, recipe execution and development, manage tastings, and execution of food demonstrations for the Leadership Team. Coordinates schedules and development of kitchen staff and manages facilities for the Eastvale Center for Culinary to ensure gold-standard results in food preparation, sanitation, and organization.

The Technologist will lead projects and document results as well as the research of programs to drive cost optimization through formulation and processing efficiencies, create new prototypes for product development initiatives, and identify/approve potential ingredient and manufacturing suppliers.

Accountable for the high quality of all products produced, the profitability of the facility, the safety of employees, security of the facility, budget planning, management and control, human resource utilization and treatment, and the development of a total employee team. Responsible that plant labor, raw material, yields; supplies, waste and human resources are managed in the most effective manner, resulting in a positive contribution to the bottom line of the company P&L.

The Category Manager works closely with Saratoga's sales and internal teams, identifying and managing mutually beneficial opportunities. They develop tactics and strategies that lead the industry and produce winning results. The role involves managing pricing requests, system execution, and interacting with customers. The Category Manager is a key point of contact between internal departments and sales, promoting teamwork and maintaining an amicable communication style.

As part of our FS/QA team, you would conduct routine sanitation checks, ensuring that HAACP and USDA regulations are strictly enforced. Providing technical expertise to track product from start to finish, and develop corrective actions when needed. Under guidance of the plant QA Director, the Food Safety Specialist is responsible for coordinating and maintaining Saratoga's environmental food safety programs and projects including HACCP and Environmental Monitoring for both Bolingbrook and Eastvale plant locations. Works closely with QA, Sanitation, Production, and Maintenance at both locations in evaluating and improving equipment and facility condition for food safety.
